Alpha Cult is proud to announce its first charity art show, “onezerozero”, benefiting the AIDS/LifeCycle organization.
this group raises money and awareness for the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles Gay & Lesbian Center for education and treatment services. Most notable is the “cycle” part of this charity...as their fundraising efforts are centered around an exciting event: a 545-mile bicycle tour from San Francisco to Los Angeles!!!
All participating riders are tasked with raising money for the cause, so Alpha Cult has chosen to support them through the rider who brought this fine charity to our attention: Elaine Eddinger. Elaine is a 6-year veteran of the AIDS/LifeCycle event and her passion for it put the fever in Sally...she bought a bike and is training to make the ride too!
All art pieces in this show are to be priced at exactly $100, with 100% of our share of sales being donated to AIDS/LifeCycle!
So far, we have over 30 artists participating in this show...by far our largest roster to date. with most of them submitting 2 or more pieces, there will be art-a-plenty to choose from! our hope is that the (very affordable) fixed price point will encourage MASSIVE sales, thereby raising as much as we can for this very noble cause. we have always felt quite blessed to have the network of artists that we do, both because of their wonderful talents and their awesome personalities. but this show has proven beyond a doubt what good people they really are and we simply can’t thank them enough...
So, the show opens Saturday, February 10th. Artwork will be available for sale as of 11am (when we open for business), but the reception party will begin at 7pm and go until 11pm or later if people are still hangin’ and having a good time! ^_^
Feel free to reach us at contact@alphacult.com for more information about the show. otherwise...we’ll see you there!
